The Gingerbread Players of TGV
                                                                  Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Gingerbread Players of TGV (“GBP”), to promote the appreciation of theatre in children and youth of all
ages.  GBP will produce a minimum of two children’s plays per annum, specifically as follows:  GBP will strive to produce shows
which appeal to the children and youth of the Valdosta community and its surrounding areas.  GBP will utilize children and youth
in as many of the acting roles as possible in its productions and will also include children and youth in various tech roles. Tech
roles are defined to be any non-acting role including but not limited to stage crew, costuming, props, set construction, make-up,
sound and lighting. It is a goal of GBP to include both beginning and veteran actors, while attempting to produce the best possible
shows for its audiences.

GBP will strive to offer workshops, summer camps and other theatrical learning opportunities whenever possible.  It is the aim of
GBP to foster a love of theatre in all of its participants in a non-competitive, cooperative and nurturing environment.
